Join Sami guides for an unforgettable nighttime experience of reindeer feeding and Sami culture.

After meeting in the city centre and a 35-minute seaside drive, we arrive at the camp, where the reindeer will be waiting for you. At the camp, you will have the chance to feed the herd of around 200 reindeer that will swarm around and might even eat from your hands, and you will learn to use the lasso (but not on real reindeer).

Inside a candlelit lavu, you will enjoy a simple dinner, including bidos, a traditional Sami stew cooked over the fire, and warm drinks. A vegetarian / vegan / gluten free option is also available.

After dinner, you will gather around the fire to listen to stories about Sami culture and how it is to be a reindeer herder. The Sami guide will also perform a joik (traditional Sami song) for the guests.

If you are lucky and the sky is clear you will have a chance to see the Northern Lights above the reindeer camp.
